      Lynne,

All I’ve seen is that it is upright but don’t know the brand. If you go to the blog desertsong studio and look for the post of Oct 22, 2010, there are pictures of a workshop in what I believe is Heyden’s studio – the blog writer attended this. She has a couple of loom photos in the post. I’m going to try to link directly – photo1photo2.

If the image links don’t work just search the blog archive for October 2010 and you’ll see the images.

Before I forget – If you are like myself and have a small work area, check out the Mirrix tapestry – looms. I have no company affiliation, just like working this this loom. -jamie

I do some yarn-dyeing with plants too! It´s so nice to find other people, on other parts of the world… testing different things 🙂 Greetings from Iceland,
    Kristín.

You are so right, that really is one of the great things about the internet. Thank you so much for the great tip! I´ll look over there… but have you ever tryed dyeing with avocado-peel and stones?
